Coldheart Canyon

Forces @ Work was a progressive metal band which I founded somewhere around 2000.

This is the first demo-cd we did. For a long time in the initial stage, the band was an instrumental band, since it was really hard to find a singer who would fit. When this situation started to become a problem, guitarist Adrian Weiss suggested to invite vocalist Andreas Lohse, with whom Adrian and myself had played in the band “Thoughtspere”, which had just disbanded.

So we did that, and Andreas had to come up with vocal ideas to instrumentals we had been working on for a long time and which were already recorded. In the video below you can listen to one of the songs. 

Remembering that time, it is safe to say that it was exciting, challenging and lots of fun.
